Made with raw honey blended with organic turmeric, astragalus, ginger, cayenne, and black pepper, Golden Milk Honey helps to reduce inflammation, boost circulation, improve digestion, strengthen immunity, and support heart & brain health. 

This Golden Milk Honey recipe is my sweet spin on golden milk - a warm Ayurvedic drink prepared with Indian spices and milk. It's been traditionally consumed after a meal to support healthy digestion and lower the risk of heart disease, yet it offers so many other health benefits! Personally, I love drinking golden milk during the Fall and Winter months because it keeps me feeling warm, grounded, and nourished.

 Key Ingredients & Benefits:

  • Turmeric has been used for centuries in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Indian Ayurvedic medicine. High in curcumin, a bioactive compound with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, turmeric provides relief to sore muscles, inflammation, and digestive issues.
  • Astragalus is an important herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with adaptogenic qualities -- working with a person’s body to regulate the effects of stress and fatigue.
  • Ginger is a warming herb that promotes circulation and has been shown to relieve digestive issues, treat nausea, and relieve muscle pain.
  • Raw honey contains numerous phytonutrients that provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. These valuable nutrients are unique to raw honey and disappear when honey is heated or heavily processed.

This Golden Milk Honey is mildly spicy. It can be used as a base and mixed with your milk of choice (e.g. almond, oat, coconut, dairy) to create a warm & relaxing drink. Golden Milk Honey is a great example of how you can use food as medicine.
