Purify Facial Steam uses steam infused with skin soothing botanicals - lavender, chamomile, rose hips, comfrey, rose, sage, marshmallow root, and oatstraw - to open, deep clean, and purify the pores. The result is improved circulation, hydration, and a glowing complexion. Botanical facial steaming is suitable for most skin types including normal, oily, combination, dry, and mature. However those with irritated, sensitive, or blemish prone skin should not use a facial steam.
Chamomile has many wonderful calming properties, helping to both soothe skin and relax the muscles. Used in a facial steam, chamomile flowers supports softer, smoother, and brighter looking skin.
Rose is a natural astringent that helps to cool and hydrate the skin.
Lavender helps to prevent acne breakouts. Its gentle and soothing qualities also help relax the nervous system, easing tension and stress.
Rosehipgives your skin a natural boost of Vitamin C which can minimize the effects of oxidative stress (e.g. fine lines)

Add 3-5 tablespoons to a large heatproof glass or metal bowl. Add 1-2 quarts of near boiling hot water. Place face about 10 inches above the bowl and drape a large towel over head to create a steam tent. With closed eyes and slow, gentle breathing, allow steam to penetrate face for 5-10 minutes. If excess heat or discomfort is felt, stop immediately. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
